eCommerce File Format

Our onDemand eCommerce services for listings translations are available in 4 different quality levels, which, in return, demand the use of a very specific format. This is essential for your project uploads to be correctly processed by our system. Therefore, please note that non-compliant files will be rejected.

Within this article section you can download a template file for our services. This is basically a Microsoft Excel file (.xlsx) with the following columns:

column A column B column C column D - M
ID Category Title Subtitle / Description / Anything
This value is for your own reference. We will not touch it, i.e. it will be returned identically as it was received by us. This value is for your own reference. We will not touch it, i.e. it will be returned identically as it was received by us. This column should contain the titles of your listings. Please note that titles are treated differently from descriptions in some service levels. All following columns will be equally treated as descriptions in terms of translation output. You can use these however you see fit.

Please note that we only process those columns which have a header. The names of the headers from A to C (ID, Category and Title) must be identical with the example, while the headers of all following ones after column C can be named freely. Header-less columns will be ignored by our system. The file must have only one tab (one Worksheet), as only one tab will be processed.

If you have any questions on the use of this file format, do not hesitate and simply send us a support ticket.
